Thanking existing clients for their business by sending a Seasons' Greetings-type of card is a nice gesture to show your clients that you appreciate them. But what if you don't have any clients yet?

Consider offering a promotion or discount on your services. To stand out in a crowd, you may want to skip the traditional holiday season and focus instead on holidays such as Valentine's Day or Halloween. Or you could have a seasonal promotion every Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Here are some resources for cards.

Easy and Inexpensive: Try discount dollar and 99 cent stores.  Packs of 20-30 of generic cards are usually $1.00 or less and often look as good as personalized cards. Or try websites like MyCardMaker which will allow you to print your own cards from home.

Personalized Cards: Companies like Zazzle allow you to fully personalize cards without ordering large quantities and are usually shipped within 24 hours.

Personalized Bulk Options:  If you have a lot of attorneys or firms that you are going to mail, consider bulk greeting card sites such as CardsDirect which will give quantity discounts and look very professional.

Tip:  Don't forget to include the cost of postage when choosing your cards.
